Around the Foro Romano

Arriving too late to visit the Foro Romano, Sissi & I toured the outside. Luckily, I took photos, as I completely forgot when we came back to go inside in May!
This picture illustrates the alarming tendency the Romans have to build on top of ruins with little evidence of shoring up the old building underneath.
