Banff, July 2005

In July 2005 I visited my cousin Amy, who was working in a hotel in Banff, in human resources. This is one of the more beautiful places in the world you could be lucky enough to work.

Deer roam the streets with only moderate caution.

Amy and Doug's spacious basement flat.

Some views from Sulphur mountain, up which the three of us walked and down which I ran, the other two sensibly making use of their staff passes for a free ride down on the gondola. The third picture shows the Springs Hotel where Amy worked, and the fourth is the most photographed Banff mountain. The last is a view from the top to the other peak, which I didn't visit.

A view of Sleeping Buffalo Mountain, on our way to the Paint Pots.
