Andō Gallery, Art Institute of Chicago
This stunning room was specially designed for the museum. What the panel doesn't tell you is that it houses ancient and modern pairs of works executed in the same materials.
I'm not sure why, but I didn't get the ancient pair of this modern work.
This last pair was my favourite, especially the stunning, and evidently painstakingly produced, modern work, to which my photo does not do justice.
