Imperia

Having tired of paying twice the harbour fees that Monacan citizens pay and of being kicked out for the Grand Prix, Mario Polverini decided to take the family boat to Imperia, and we visited it there (though in the end I didn't end up going out on it).

Sissi and Olga relaxing on deck.
Some rather dodgy folk dock in Imperia.

Some sights on a walk to the end of the pier. I walked around this cannon to avoid the sunbathers on the other side, when one of them emerged anyway just as I took this picture.

Sissi and I took a walk around Imperia, a city formed by joining two others, and named for Mussolini's ambitions. Some of the buildings are not as old as they look.
This is Italian for "nursery school".
