I first sang at OLV on April Fool’s Day 2001. I was the fool: the trouble and expense of getting down to London with the railway basically out of order (including a fruitless pick-up by Dad from Letchworth to take me to Stevenage) did not really compensate for the fee. I went back several times in 2007, which was much more pleasant: a half hour bike ride from Clapham Junction.
