# Hay Festival 2008

I spent three and a half days at the Hay festival, Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning. The festival itself wasn't so much about images, but I wrote [notes]($url{/Log/Hay 2008/}) on all the talks I went to.

I also went on a side-trip to the Blaenavon ironworks, which were quite spectacular. The excellent tour-guide, the local historian who was instrumental in having the site designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, was passionate and knew just about everything about the site.
